Roberts & Stevens proudly announces the firm’s decision to promote Ann-Patton Hornthal to become a partner with the firm. Ann-Patton focuses her state and federal court litigation practice on complex litigation, professional malpractice, medical malpractice, business litigation, personal injury, and real property disputes. She devotes a substantial portion of her practice to appellate advocacy before the North Carolina Appellate Courts.
Ann-Patton has successfully represented clients before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, and all North Carolina state courts.
Ann-Patton joined Roberts & Stevens after she graduated magna cum laude from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 2006. Since then she has been an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, and the Western District of the North Carolina Federal Bar Association. Ann-Patton is actively involved in the community. She serves on the board of directors for Pisgah Community Legal Services and attends Trinity Episcopal Church with her husband, Lang, and their two year old son, Ashe.
Ann-Patton has been honored by her peers as a North Carolina Super Lawyer Rising Star since 2011 in Civil Litigation Defense.
