Jacqueline D. Grant, a partner at the law firm of Roberts & Stevens, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the 28th Judicial District Bar serving as Vice-President for the 2012-2013 term. The 28th Judicial District Bar is a subdivision of the North Carolina State Bar and serves as the mandatory Bar for all attorneys in Buncombe County. More than 650 attorneys are included in the organization. The 28th Judicial District Bar is governed by a volunteer Executive Committee of 15 voting members and 3 non-voting members. They approve expenditures, facilitate CLE and other programs, and serve as a point of contact for all Bar members. Executive Committee members serve 3-year terms.
