Housing - Public & Affordable
A team of Roberts & Stevens' attorneys has developed considerable expertise in public and affordable housing transactions. Our clients have included non-profit corporations, public housing authorities, governmental agencies and other non-profit housing sponsors and lenders. We have structured, negotiated and drafted low-income housing tax credit partnerships, management and joint venture agreements, as well as represented public housing authorities in the issuance of tax-exempt bonds.
The firm serves as Board Attorney for The Housing Authority of the City of Asheville and The Brevard Housing Authority. In this role, we provide day-to-day representation in the areas of labor relations, contracts and purchasing, landlord and tenant law, and regulatory compliance.
