Land Conservation
Roberts & Stevens works closely with landowners, land trusts and conservation organizations to protect and preserve land. Our attorneys offer a full range of services for these clients. We handle title searches and closings for conservation easements and work with state and federal governments in connection with the funding and transfer of easements and conservation property in fee simple. We also work with environmental organizations as counselors and serve on the Board of Directors in leadership positions to assist in the daily operations of land protection and help in fundraising for these organizations. Finally, in the event that the easement terms are violated, we represent clients in court to pursue and require the enforcement of conservation easements.
