The Roberts & Stevens' Sports and Recreation Industry Team is uniquely positioned to address the complex and dynamic needs of the sports and recreation industry in Western North Carolina. We provide full service legal counsel to athletes and sports teams, schools, colleges and universities, ski areas and resorts, summer camps, river rafting providers, equestrian operations, sporting goods retailers, and sporting goods and component manufacturers. Our work for these clients includes contract/transactional services, representation in litigation and arbitration, risk management counseling and legislative guidance. As an example, we recently performed lobbying work for the North Carolina Ski Areas Association to obtain successful amendments to the Winter Sports Safety Statute.
