James W. Williams
Jimmy Williams has been a partner and shareholder at Roberts & Stevens since 1976 and has successfully defended more than 300 civil actions to a jury verdict. Appointed as lead counsel in many ongoing disputes, Jimmy is passionate about the system of jury trials as the best method for obtaining justice in our society. His clients include several North Carolina healthcare organizations, and he recently won two significant jury trials for a national Top 50 hospital involving brain injuries and quadriplegia.
Jimmy has earned recognition as Business North Carolina magazine's Legal Elite, Top 100 Lawyers, North Carolina Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America (10 consecutive years), and Best Commercial Lawyers in North Carolina. Outside of the courtroom, Jimmy, a North Carolina native, enjoys spending quality time with his family that includes three children and five grandchildren.
