Litigation Paralegal
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to join our general litigation team. Candidates should be critical thinkers with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants with prior experience in litigation are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be competitive and based on relevant experience.
Duties
- Obtaining, organizing and summarizing medical records.
- Creating case timelines and billing summaries.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions and discovery documents.
- Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance with legal standards and accuracy.
- Proofread legal documents for clarity, grammar, and adherence to formatting standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
- Coordinate project management tasks related to litigation timelines and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Proficient in project management principles to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Maintain organized client files and documentation in accordance with firm policies.
