Roberts & Stevens Attorney F. Lachicotte Zemp Jr. selected as one of the 2020 Leaders in the Law by ‘North Carolina Lawyers Weekly’

Roberts & Stevens is pleased to announce that attorney F. Lachicotte “Lach” Zemp Jr. has been selected as one of the 2020 Leaders in the Law by “North Carolina Lawyers Weekly,” a publication dedicated to providing essential legal news, opinions and court decisions for practicing attorneys in the state.

The 2020 Leaders in the Law honorees represent the most influential individuals within North Carolina’s legal community. They are selected by a panel of independent legal professional leaders and peers based on professional accomplishment, personal accomplishment, and community involvement within the state.

This year, the Leaders in the Law Awards ceremony event went virtual to align with state health and safety guidelines. The virtual event premiered on YouTube at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 on the SCBIZtv channel. At the conclusion of the broadcast, the publication is announcing the recipient of the Lawyer of the Year Award, for which Zemp is in the running as a 2020 Leader in the Law. Zemp is one of 24 honorees at the annual event.

A taped interview with Zemp and this year’s other Leaders in the Law is included in the award ceremony’s program — and a separate interview with Zemp appeared in a special edition of “North Carolina Lawyers Weekly” in November.
