Roberts & Stevens Attorney John Noor Awarded Pro Bono Service Award
The 28th Judicial District Bar and Pisgah Legal Services have presented their annual Pro Bono Service Awards. Roberts & Stevens Attorney John Noor was nominated for the Younger Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award. Since John began volunteering with Pisgah Legal Services in 2013, he has closed 36 cases, advised numerous clients through Pisgah Legal Service’s hotline consultation program, and donated over 150 pro bono hours through the Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers (MAVL) Program.
John’s law practice focuses on complex business and environmental litigation, land use and conservation, as well as government policy. John serves on Pisgah Legal Services’ Young Professionals Board and Development Council, and is highly involved in domestic violence policy and advocacy at the state and local level.
