Roberts & Stevens law firm honored by national publication

ASHEVILLE – The Roberts & Stevens Law Firm has been recognized in the 2010 U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings in five categories: Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Medical Malpractice Law-Defendants, Personal Injury Litigation-Defendants, and Real Estate Law.

This U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers 2010 Best Law Firms rankings, marks the inaugural publication of this highly-anticipated annual analysis. The rankings include 30,322 rankings of nearly 9,000 law firms in 81 practice areas, in 171 metropolitan areas and seven states. The Roberts & Stevens rankings are for the Metropolitan Area of Asheville, NC.

These reputational survey responses were combined with more than 3.1 million evaluations of individual lawyers in these firms in the most recent Best Lawyers survey of leading lawyers. Hard numbers were also used to develop the practice area rankings — data about numbers of lawyers and their previous experience, numbers of clients within different billing ranges, numbers of transactions and litigation matters at different dollar levels; pro-bono commitment, diversity, and other objective data.
