Roberts & Stevens sponsors Mountain Housing Opportunities – House Warming Party 2012

Roberts & Stevens is proud to be a sponsor of the 2012 Mountain Housing Opportunities House Warming Party. Mountain Housing Opportunities is a private, community development corporation whose mission is to build and improve homes, neighborhoods, communities–and lives– for the people of Asheville and Buncombe County.

On Friday, November 30, they are hosting a “Housewarming Party” to raise funds to benefit the programs and services of Mountain Housing Opportunities. By purchasing items on the “party registry”, you can support their Emergency Home Repair & Rehab Program (which includes their Family-to-Family Furnace Fund), their Affordable Workforce Housing, their Downpayment Assistance Program, or their Self-Help Homeownership Program.

The party registry works just like a wedding registry! You can donate a pack of shingles to repair someone’s roof, or a portion of materials to build a handicap ramp to give someone access in and out of their home, or part of a heater to keep someone warm this winter.
