Jackie Grant Presenting on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace at May 7 WomanUP Event
On May 7, Jacqueline Grant will take part in a panel discussion about appropriate and inappropriate behavior in the workplace. The public workshop is part of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce’s WomanUP initiative, which is focused on supporting and inspiring the community’s business women.
From the event organizers:
The #metoo movement has shined a light on an important issue in the workplace and has also raised many questions. How do you define sexual harassment? How do we respond when we encounter it? What can employees and employers do to prevent it?
Our panel of local experts will discuss appropriate and inappropriate behavior in the workplace. Most importantly, if you encounter inappropriate behavior in the workplace—as an employee or employer—you’ll learn how it’s best to address it.
