Tyler Gillis is an attorney at Roberts & Stevens who represents and advises large and small businesses in the areas of commercial transactions, business entity formation and management, human resource issues, regulatory and healthcare matters, and real estate. Tyler spent the first 10 years of his career advising large multi-national corporations as in-house counsel in Raleigh, North Carolina. Most recently, he served as senior corporate counsel to a small biotech company in San Diego, California.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in American history and political science, Tyler attended Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where he graduated with a juris doctor in 2011.
Tyler moved to Asheville from San Diego in 2025. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his family and hiking the beautiful North Carolina mountains.
